We stayed at Hotel Barahdari from 26th-30th December with my partner. It’s near Maidagin Road Petrol Pump, about 500 m from Kal Bhairav Temple and around 1.5 km from Kashi Vishwanath Temple, so getting around was convenient. The rooms were clean and well maintained, and the bathroom had running water all day and a proper geyser for hot water, which was great in winter. There’s a lift too. Staff were polite and helpful, and the owner was kind and cooperative, with useful suggestions for our stay. The price felt reasonable for the location and cleanliness. It was a comfortable, peaceful stay, and I’d recommend it and stay again.

Sightseeing was easy from Hotel Barahdari, which is right by the temple and all the ghats. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. A wonderful stay in Varanasi.

Even water isn’t provided unless you ask, and they don’t give towels or the other things either. Still, the rooms are good.

We had to stay here with family because of some circumstances. The rooms were okay, but not very clean, and the roadside rooms were a bit noisy. Staff don’t have a very hospitable attitude, though they do push to get things done.

The price doesn’t feel justified, even though the stay wasn’t terrible. Water barely flowed from the taps, the TV was just there for show and didn’t work, and there was no room service. The sheets were white.
