The backwater views are stunning, and the team is warm and makes you feel at home. We went with extended family and our fur baby, and everyone had a good time. Some areas felt too rustic, though, and could use more maintenance and deep cleaning. It wasn't a dealbreaker. More activities on site and food or room service for certain situations would improve the stay. Red Earth has a good vibe, and we enjoyed it.

The ground staff were friendly and the food decent, and the property and ambience were pretty good. But for 44k for two nights over the Republic Day holiday, this was very poor management. We were assigned one of the four cottages without an installed jacuzzi, though the property has 21 cottages and others had proper jacuzzis. Ours looked like a cement pit. We only learned at checkout, when I saw another room, and the front office confirmed four cottages had no jacuzzi. They gave those rooms to NRI and foreign citizens, while we were completely ignored. No one told us before arrival, so we paid for a room that wasn't what we booked and should have had the price reduced. The horse ride was supposed to cost 200, but they charged 500. I only noticed once I got home. There was too much hype for what we paid.

We spent three nights here, and the calm surroundings made it easy to fully relax. There was plenty to do and see, but what stayed with us most was hearing birdsong and the sounds of birds and insects all around. The food and staff were wonderful. We'd recommend staying more than one night to really take in the sights and sounds. Much better for unwinding than a corporate hotel.

The staff were humble, courteous, and very good, and the green surroundings and backwater views made for a peaceful, relaxing stay. A few things could be better: there should be more indoor and outdoor activities to keep guests busy, and the jacuzzi needs improvement. The pathways are narrow and uneven, making walking or running difficult. Food wad good. Otherwise, a good experience.

A nice place to chill and unwind if you're stressed from a packed schedule. The staff are gentle and down to earth, and the service and hospitality are fantastic. Food feels soothing and homemade. They have a zoologist and naturalist who explain things about nature, and during the bird viewing activity we could explore different species and learn each bird's family and species name. There are a few other activities too. It was a good experience. Thank u😀
