During a medical emergency involving my wife, we checked out at 1 PM, two hours after the 11 AM checkout time. The staff demanded extra money, showed no concern, and treated us rudely and dismissively, as though we were trying to cheat them. They gave us no support, empathy, or basic courtesy. This felt like money coming before compassion, not just a matter of policy. I was staying at Jyoti Dwelling Hotel from 25th to 28th Dec 2025, and the experience was disgraceful. The most appalling part was Mr Kadam (photo attached), who was arrogant and hostile and caused mental harassment instead of acting professionally. His behavior was insulting and insensitive, and I don't think he's fit for a service job. If guests are treated this way during a medical crisis, the hotel has no morals or ethics and no understanding of hospitality. Management, if your staff can't tell the difference between a late checkout and a medical emergency, you've failed as a hospitality business. Train them in basic human behavior, not just billing. Future guests shouldn't expect understanding here. If you or your family run into trouble, you'll be treated like an inconvenience and squeezed for money. Stay elsewhere. This place doesn't deserve customers and needs a serious wake-up call. When management replied that it was peak time and all rooms were sold out, they were covering up their mistake. Rooms were still available when we tried to book an extra stay. Even the two clowns at reception admitted rooms were available while extorting money from us.
