Neenava Dormitory

The bunk beds are spacious, and the place is very clean. It’s next to the main road and Asalpha Metro, with separate areas for men and women. There are 8-9 toilet and bathroom facilities. The night AC works very well and is economical, so it’s good value for money. You can apply through MMT or other apps for bigger discounts.

I traveled recently and, honestly, this was the worst dormitory I’ve ever experienced. Don’t even think about staying here. It felt like hell in Mumbai.

The washroom was so filthy I nearly vomited when I went in. There were far too many bed bugs too, so it was a really bad experience. They also charge Rs 100 for checking in before 11 am. I looked at some other dormitories, and you can find better ones in Marol Naka.

The staff were rude, even to female guests, and had no idea how to speak respectfully. They wouldn’t let guests go out at night, even just to smoke outside, and locked the door like a prison. The road to the dormitory is poorly lit, and there are shady people nearby. Staff slept on the reception sofa day and night with their phones playing loudly, and one argued with someone about ordering food at night. They were lazy and unprofessional, and the place wasn’t cleaned properly. They also kept the AC set too warm, making it hard to sleep, and asked for advance payment. The sheets and blankets were dirty and smelled, as did the washrooms. There was no washroom bin or hot water, a woman was smoking in the washroom, and mice were roaming all over the dormitory. It was a very bad stay.
