Riva Beach Resort

We came for my brother’s big fat Indian wedding and had an amazing experience. The property was lush and green, the food was great, and the private beach was clean, with full Goa feels. Bell boy Anand worked especially hard to make things better for our family and the older people. I’d definitely recommend a visit!

We’re regular guests at Riva Resort and had another good stay, this time for eight days with meals included. We were travelling with our 10-month-old baby, and the staff did what they could to help, but the baby food choices were limited. The options were dal khichdi, dal and roti, and potato. We’d like to see more baby-friendly solid food without salt, sugar or spices. The chefs made amazing food for the adults, and the restaurant team, Kiran, Priya, Salil, Pabitra and Prince, were extremely attentive and handled requests promptly. The staff hospitality was excellent, and they supported us however they could. Thanks to Diksha and Joviel for the excellent room cleaning. The room infrastructure, including the refrigerator, was poorly maintained, and the fridge smelled very bad. We asked to change rooms because our baby developed an allergy from the rusty infrastructure, and the baby also got an eye allergy. It’s a good property in an excellent location with supportive staff, but the rooms need maintenance.

The lake view spot and all the greenery made the resort feel special, and having a private beach was amazing. We also had a swimming pool, a bar, and really good food, so it was a memorable stay for us. Thanks to Riva staff members Priya, kiran, Shikha and salil for taking such good care of us.

Diksha and Bhuvan from housekeeping kept the room clean and welcoming every day. They were thorough, always smiling, and courteous throughout my stay. I really appreciated their work, and it made a noticeable difference to my time at the resort.
