Itsy Hotels Shivshakti

I booked Itsy By Treebo - Shivshakti through Treebo Hotels and stayed there opposite the bus stand in Aurangabad. My experience was disappointing from start to finish, and I’d rate it zero stars. I arrived around midnight and had told the receptionist I was checking in. He said the room wasn’t clean and asked me to wait. I agreed, but the waiting area had poor lighting and lots of mosquitoes. When I pointed that out, staff just said, “Yes sir, I know,” and did nothing. The room I eventually got still wasn’t properly cleaned. There were no hangers or extra charging plug points. The washroom was uncomfortable too: the toilet commode was unusually high and awkward to use, even though I’m 6 feet tall. The service, cleanliness, and facilities didn’t meet basic expectations.

I stayed one night, and even for a budget stay this should be better. The complimentary morning breakfast felt like a scam: they made poha in the canteen and served it in the room. There’s no car parking either. The rooms need a lot of work on cleanliness, hot water, and getting the electronics to work.

The room and bathroom were horribly dirty and unhygienic. The sheets and pillows were stained and dirty too. Staff weren’t cooperative. It was a horrible experience for us, so don’t be taken in by the fake good reviews. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

We ended up staying here because of last-minute booking problems, and it was extremely disappointing. The online reviews are misleading and fake, so don’t rely on them. The only positive was that the staff were kind and polite. Our room was tiny, cramped, and poorly maintained. The mattress had dirt and hair stuck to it, the sheets hadn’t been changed, and the cleaning was poor. There was cigarette ash in the room, and it looked like the floor hadn’t been mopped at all. The bathroom was very uncomfortable to use, with visible stains on the toilet seat, a bad smell, and no attention to hygiene. The corridors and stairs were in terrible shape too. A torn mattress had been put on the staircase and held together with tape, showing a complete lack of maintenance and safety. The hotel is unhygienic and not worth the money. I strongly don’t recommend it.
