OYO 10507 Hotel Platinum

The location is good, and the service staff were polite, gentle, and responsive. But the room and bathroom weren't clean or well maintained, which would irritate any guest. I wish they'd clean properly before check-in instead of waiting until guests arrive. I'd keep the rating at three.

There was no lift, and the passageways were narrow. The food was awful, served in dirty plates and aluminum foil. We bought food outside and it tasted good. The help desk offered no support, and I had to keep chasing the night manager for everything. The day manager seemed nice, but the night manager was tall, slim, and disrespectful. He didn't seem to understand basic respect. I had paid the full deposit properly, yet he asked me to adjust the room service. This was a terrible stay. I'd choose a proper hotel instead of this dummy inn.

I was riding my bike from Pune to Nagpur and had booked through MMT. Before setting off, I called the property manager to confirm they had the booking and told them I'd arrive around 9-10 PM and leave at 5 AM. They said there was no problem. When I reached Aurangabad at about 10:30, they told me they'd ended their OYO contract the previous evening and wanted me to cancel online and pay cash to check in. It took about an hour to sort out. I then spent 1-1.5 hours searching for dinner, since I'm a strict vegetarian and don't eat at non-veg hotels. I went to bed late, got less than the 5-6 hours of sleep I needed before driving 600 km, and left at 7 instead of 5. The denied check-in for my online booking ruined my trip home.

The rooms have what you need, with a TV, WiFi, and hot water, and they all worked. Service was decent too. The stairway is cramped and doesn't get much air.
