Being right by the Sarayu River at Naya Ghat was the highlight for me. I also got to see the beautiful evening aarti on the Sarayu nearby, an unforgettable experience. The cottages are spacious, maintained well, and comfortable. Most major attractions are within a 2 km radius, and the reception is right across from the cottages, so check-in and support were easy. The small restaurant had tasty food, with plenty of other good choices nearby. The restaurant and cab services still need a lot of improvement. I stayed last week and found it decent overall, and would recommend it for a peaceful stay with convenient access to the area.

At 20,000 for two cottages, the price felt too high for the location and amenities. There’s no pool, garden, or kid-friendly features, and better options are available for that price. The temple is nearby, though. Our shower backed up and overflowed, the towels were stained, and they had to call a plumber to spray something into the drain. That spoiled the holiday. We also had to repeatedly call room service just to get water. Mosquitoes were an issue near the water. People bathed in their underwear right in front of our room, and others washed clothes there in the morning, so sitting outside with tea wasn’t really possible. Please read the reviews before booking so you know what to expect. I might have given two stars, but the poor hospitality brought it down to one.

They provided wheelchair assistance for both my grandmothers right on time. The service was extremely good, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Excellent stay, keep it up guys 👍🏻

The canal in front of the rooms was embarrassing, with people bathing and washing clothes there in their undergarments. In all three bathrooms, there was no hot water, and nobody dealt with it promptly. We had a Darshan booking, so we showered with regular water. There were leaks that made the bathroom floors slippery, and the linen and towels smelled of washing soda. The prices are extremely high for what you get. Overall, I wouldn’t choose Ayodhya Haat Luxury cottages for a stay in Ayodhya.

The view was mesmerizing, and the rooms were clean and well maintained. Food was amazing, and the staff were really helpful. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it if you’re after a peaceful environment.
