Hotel AYODHYA HERITAGE

We stayed for two days and had a pleasant, comfortable time. The in-house restaurant served delicious food, and the staff were polite, courteous, and very helpful. Rooms were clean and well maintained. The hotel is conveniently located near the Ayodhya Ram Temple, with government-approved electric golf carts easily available from the main road to reach the temple and other important destinations. The elevator was especially helpful for senior citizens.

The Ram Mandir gate is approximately 500 meters from the hotel, which made getting there convenient. The cozy interiors and well-kept cleanliness made it comfortable and family-friendly. From the warm welcome to the excellent hospitality and service, everything was top-notch, and the staff were helpful and cooperative throughout our stay.

The main issue for us was the cleanliness. When we opened the bathroom bin, there was a used sanitary pad inside, and we found long hairs by the door and dust and hair across the bedroom floor. There were even small insects on the bed. I’ve attached photos. When we asked for the bathroom and floor to be cleaned, staff used the same mop for both the toilet and the room. Reception just smiled when we raised the problem and had no answer. This was the worst room service I’ve seen while travelling. We stayed from 25th-27th Feb, 2026. I had booked through Agoda after seeing positive reviews, at a discounted price. The standard room was quite small, so two people with two trolley bags should expect tight space. Offline rates were around 2.5K. The hotel is also farther from Ram Janmabhoomi than its claimed 700-800 metres: from the main gate it’s about 2-2.5 kms, and a battery auto costs 20 Rs per seat. Given all that, I’d avoid this hotel and book somewhere good near Ram Janmabhoomi.

The food was the highlight for me, especially the AH thali, which was worth having. Dining was great, and room service was good too. The staff were friendly and helpful, so it made for a nice stay ❤️
