Ira by Orchid Ayodhya

The restaurant was very slow at dinner, and Pizza was listed on the menu but wasn’t available. The breakfast buffet was satisfactory, though there’s room to improve it. On the plus side, the rooms were neat and clean, the staff were humble and helpful, and I was offered a welcome drink when I arrived. The hotel is also quite close to the Ramjanmabhoomi temple.

The team promptly cleaned and organized the gym after I reported that it was filthy and disorganized. Service and hospitality were great, and the location worked well for visiting town. The vegetarian restaurant served tasty food, though the choices were sparse. The safe instructions posted there were wrong: they called for a 6 digit passcode, but it only works with 4 digit passcodes. Staff also gave me conflicting directions on using it, so I had to ask them to open it for us twice. The team promptly fixed the issue.

We had a wonderful three day stay at Ira by orchid at Ayodhya. Cafe Vindhyas is a spacious pure veg restaurant with multi cuisine offerings, and our stay included buffet dinner and breakfast there. The wait staff were great, especially Sonu, who was always smiling and answered every question politely. The hotel was immaculately clean and conveniently located. The whole staff were courteous and polite, and the room was clean, well lit, and had all the amenities. Whenever we needed anything, help was just a call away. We really enjoyed our time at Ira and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, hospitable stay in Ayodhya.

The staff were friendly and attentive, and the place felt cozy, clean, and relaxed. I especially loved the meal: the dosa was crisp outside and soft and flavorful inside, with excellent chutneys and sambar. The rich, aromatic filter coffee was nicely balanced, neither too bitter nor too milky, and warmed me up. It was a lovely way to finish eating. If you’re after South Indian flavors, the dosa and filter coffee are a great combination here. Highly recommended.
