Saryu Lodge

I chose this hotel because of the FAB name, but after this weekend visit I won't stay at any FAB property again. The place was poorly managed, and they didn't seem to understand hospitality. Breakfast came from outside and was brought in an unhygienic way. The paper plates were so flimsy they couldn't properly hold the food, and getting any service took a long time. The washroom and bedsheet were dirty, and the towels were poor quality.

We booked two rooms at this lodge, and the stay was a bad experience, especially for the high price of one night. In my room, the bed had a used sheet on it. They changed it after I complained. The next morning, there was no water in the bathroom, though they sorted it out after I raised the issue. I also found electricity in the geyser water. In the other room, the bulbs had no power that morning. The TV wasn't working either, but they managed to fix the problems after we complained.

The room was just adequate, and the location isn't convenient for visiting Ram Temple. Our booking included breakfast, but there was none. The charges are far too high, since you can find better nearby places for half the price. Locally, it's called Saryu Lodge. It feels more like a lodge with rooms in a homestay.

The rooms are comfortable and clean, but they're very small. The temple is about 1.5 km away, despite what they say about it being only 700m. There aren't many good food choices nearby. They do offer ordering options, but those are just okay.
