Jayalaxmi was especially courteous and helped us find a good deal on a 1bhk with the best view. The staff were polite, the food was great, and the spacious room made this a good value weekend stay. It’s not beachfront, though one beach is within walking distance. Since the hotel isn’t on the main road, you’ll need a bike, car, or taxi to get around.

Getting around can be tricky without your own car or bike. There’s no Ola or Uber here, and autos are hard to find unless one happens to be dropping someone off. The ones near malpe beach were overpriced and not as good as they looked in their online pictures. We paid a little extra because everything was pricey over New Year, but the overall stay was good. The resort is about 4 km from malpe beach. Our room was clean with a good view, breakfast had plenty of options, and the pool and water activities were nice additions. We were there on New Year’s Eve and there were celebrations and performances too.

The warm, welcoming staff made the place feel homely, and I’d consider coming back after a few improvements. The peaceful location is close to the beach, with ample parking, comfortable seating, and an in-house restaurant. Our spacious room had clean linen, a tidy washroom, and reliable Wi-Fi. The AC and a few lights could use attention, and some areas need light maintenance. Breakfast was included and quite good, though restaurant prices felt a little high.

JayaLakshmi at reception deserves a special mention. She was welcoming and helpful, and made check-in smooth for all nine of us. We had a fantastic stay at Hermes Resort & Spa, comfortable throughout, with delicious food and a good variety. The water activities were enjoyable and well organized. It was a memorable getaway for our group, and we’d recommend the resort to anyone after a relaxing, fun break.
