Iora Baga Beach

The staff were probably the best part, very friendly, humble and helpful. I had a triple occupancy room with a view, though there wasn't much to see. The beach is just a 10 second walk away. The menu is limited and the food was average. Cleanliness was better than average, but the balcony wasn't clean. I was bothered by having to sign a paper saying they wouldn't be responsible if anything was stolen from our room.

The location is the main draw, with Baga beach about a two-minute walk away, and the air conditioning worked. But the place is hard to find, and the staff aren't courteous. They don't clean the room unless you ask. Breakfast was poor, just two items and a few spreads, with dry bread. It isn't a buffet, and when I asked for another serving of some items, they said it would cost extra. The kitchen crew has to bring even the basics. It's okay if you only need a beachside hotel, but otherwise I wouldn't recommend it. I saw good reviews on booking and review sites, and god only knows how.

I didn't spend much time at the hotel, but it left a great impression. The front desk was incredibly nice and helpful, and both the hotel and room were very clean. Breakfast was better than I expected, and the sheets, towels and desk surfaces were clean too. Good service for all clients.

It's within walking distance of baga beach, but there were mosquitoes and cockroaches in the room. Hot water wasn't available around the clock, and the housekeeping staff were rude. I stayed for one day recently.
