Shashesca Villa

The balcony at Shashesca Villa was a peaceful spot to relax and take in the Goan atmosphere. The rooms were spotless, with fresh towels and crisp sheets. Sharon, the lovely host, made me feel welcome and supported throughout my stay. As a woman traveling alone, I felt at ease with the secure, accessible location. The space is minimalist and has useful technology, while still feeling comfortable and convenient. From the moment I arrived, it felt like home. Shashesca Villa captures Goa’s culture and charm, and was a real delight to stay in. I’d happily recommend it, whether you want to unwind or experience the local culture. Thank you, Sharon, for making it feel like a haven.

The owner is a dentist and also bakes beautifully. We ordered cupcakes during our stay, and they were delicious 😋. She responds quickly to questions and requests, and takes care with every part of the rooms, including the bathrooms, to make guests comfortable. The guest house is close to Baga beach and Tito's lane. Our stay was comfortable, the rooms were neat and very hygienic. If clean rooms are what you’re after, this is the best place in Baga, since so many hotels are poorly maintained.

Everything about our stay at Shashesca Villa was great value for the money, and the location in Baga was perfect. The hotel was very clean, roomy, and neat, with excellent service. It’s close to the beach, restaurants, and other local spots. The receptionist and staff were the friendliest and most helpful I’ve ever encountered, and gave us a lovely first impression.

The only downside for our group was the narrow passage into and out of the room, so I took off one star. The rooms were clean and well cared for, with hot water. We also found the hospitality good, communication clear, and the place safe. Baga beach was a two-minute walk away, and the Saturday Nite Market was only 3-4 km away. Given all that, the room price seemed very reasonable. We had a very good stay, and I’d recommend the place to anyone visiting North Goa.
