Hotel vaidya regency is right in front of Hanuman chowk balaghat, about an 800-meter walk from the balaghat railway station. The hotel is good, and the food quality was good too. Breakfast was the letdown: they kept repeating the same menu, with a choice of pooha or paratha. When we asked for both, the staff got irritated and ignored us. We asked Prachi ji, and she got our breakfast request fulfilled.

The private rooms are very affordable, and there's a restaurant just next door that can deliver breakfast, coffee, or whatever you need. When I first arrived in India, I ended up here because an event called world bee day had booked out all the hotels in town. Luckily, Vaidya Regency squeezed me in, then extended my stay for the two extra days I needed, even though it seemed impossible at first. The staff were absolute sweethearts and gave me the best service I've ever had. If you pass through balaghat and need somewhere to stay, I'd pick this hotel, especially on a budget.
