The owner was the one bright spot. He was kind and tried to help with everything we needed, which is why I didn't give the place one star. But even the best room there wasn't up to the standard of a hotel room. The shower was broken, the bathroom door wouldn't lock, and the soap holder was tilted. They use a solar water heater, which just doesn't work well in a rainy place like Bangalore. Our trip got cut short because of outside issues, luckily. I don't know how we'd have managed longer. If your budget is low, you could try it, but don't expect much.
