Astra Hotels & Suites Marathahalli Spice

My wife, our two daughters, and I have stayed at Astra almost every weekend since March 2025, and we still have a great experience. The buffet is delicious, and the restaurant service has been excellent. We’ve held several gatherings there, all handled efficiently and with real hospitality. The rooms are spotless, with clean linens and thoughtful upkeep. Room-service staff are well trained and genuinely helpful. Reception is warm, courteous, and professional, while senior management are friendly and approachable and make guests feel valued. There’s ample parking, and the attentive security staff help things run smoothly. The access roads have been upgraded, so getting in is easier now. The property is close enough to the main road for access, but far enough away to feel quiet and comfortable. Astra works well for short or extended stays.

All the amenities were working, which made the room a good fit for a longer stay. It was clean and well maintained, with regular housekeeping, and the staff were polite, friendly, and very good. The location also made getting to the main road easy. A comfortable, smooth stay without hassles.

My whole family stayed here for a wedding, and the rooms were spacious and worth the price. All the meals were delicious, and the staff were friendly and accommodating with our requests. A wonderful experience.

The service and hospitality made this a bad stay. Several lights in the room and washroom didn’t work, the mirrors weren’t clean, and they didn’t provide hand towels or tea bags. When I called reception to ask for something, they seemed least bothered. The woman at reception was often distracted and made faces. Check-in took a long time, and we waited 20 minutes. We also handed over the room key for cleaning, then had to wait while they searched for it when we asked for it back. The rooms aren’t well maintained, and the service is poor.
