Metro View Inn

Having to carry luggage up three or four floors was super inconvenient. The elevators hardly worked during our three days there, which is why I gave two stars. The hallways and stairs almost never had lights either, and since the hotel is tucked inside, walking through them felt scary. We had to switch rooms a few times because the AC didn’t work. The guys who came to fix it didn’t understand Kannada or Hindi, which made trying to explain things frustrating. The hotel sits right behind the Metro station, but the area itself isn’t great. There are no decent hotels or coffee shops for a quick bite, and the hotel doesn’t serve breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Taking the Metro everywhere is basically the only option. I hope they fix these problems.

It’s easy to find, tucked just behind the metro station, and check-in was smooth. The big rooms were clean, and the staff were courteous. Breakfast tasted good, though the choices were limited. A good stay, and I’d recommend it for business travelers.

I booked a month ahead for November 2019 and paid in advance after they showed me a room I was happy with. When my guest arrived on the actual date, they gave us a different, really ugly room. I’d paid for a Deluxe room, but ended up staying in a normal one. They don’t value their customers or keep the promises they make. One of the worst service experiences I’ve had in Bangalore. Don’t choose this hotel for a special occasion, it can turn into a disappointment.

Please don’t stay here. After I booked a room, they charged me extra, and the staff were rude and treated guests badly.
