Nambiar Club Bellezea

We spent a day here with family, and the place was calm, peaceful, and full of fresh air, with lots of trees and flowers. The rooms were very clean and had balconies. There’s a restaurant, and our complimentary buffet breakfast had a huge variety, with everything tasting yummy. There are three pools in total, indoors and outdoors, for adults and small kids. The property also has an indoor badminton court, gym, spa, theatre, conference hall, grocery store, and medical shop. It’s a topnotch resort, and we’d definitely go again.

The restaurant’s a la carte meals were tasty and reasonably priced, though the lack of a buffet breakfast limited the morning choices. Restaurant service was decent, but didn’t have quite the finesse you’d expect at this sort of place. Activities were limited to badminton and table tennis, which may not be enough for some. Our family stayed one night at Resort ABC. It was clean, with a striking layout of multiple villas, and the well-maintained pool was a great place to unwind. The spacious rooms were comfortable, and the balcony view added to the stay. A broken bathroom handle was a minor issue. Nambiar Club Belezea works for a short one- or two-night stay, with a peaceful setting and basic recreation. The rooms and cleanliness are strong points, though minor repairs, better service, more activities, and a buffet breakfast would improve the experience.

The living experience has been excellent, and you’ll rarely run into issues. Many of the original group owners who developed the project still live here, which is reflected in how well it’s managed. One of Bangalore’s best villa communities, thoughtfully designed and very well maintained.

There was little to do, with no walking trails or activities, and the pool was taken over by society swimming classes during our visit. We could only stay in the temperature-controlled pool briefly before leaving. The clubhouse is inside a residential society, so calling this a resort is misleading. It was eerily empty over a long weekend in Bengaluru apart from a few residents passing by. Getting there was disappointing too, along unstructured, unpaved, very dusty roads. We ordered Aglio Olio and Ghee Roast Chicken, but both were tasteless. The chicken had no salt or spices, and the pasta didn’t seem to have been made with olive oil. This place should really be for society members rather than the public. I was bored and frustrated enough to check out a day early. Staff were unprofessional and refused a refund or even a credit note for the second night, so I left anyway and forfeited the money just to get away.
