Nandu Associates (Service Apartments)

The staff were helpful, and the area is peaceful with a local market close by. Rooms are spacious, bright, and well kept, with both AC and non-AC options. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the food was tasty, with a home-cooked feel. One small downside: with all the greenery there are mosquitoes around, though I didn’t find any in the rooms. I’d rate it 4.5 out of 5.

My parents stayed in the apartment for treatment at Manipal hospital, and we rented the whole place for almost a year. They felt at home there. The apartment was kept neat, internet and Cable TV worked without interruption, and the cook was punctual. Whenever someone left, Nandu associates arranged a replacement so the service continued. They also dealt with any concerns promptly. I’d recommend staying here without hesitation.

A good budget option in Bangalore, with complimentary breakfast. It’s close to the local pubs and malls in Kormangala, so it works well if you’re visiting and looking for an inexpensive place to stay.

The room felt gloomy because the bulbs were dim and yellow, and the manager refused to replace them with brighter ones. There were also empty light fittings in the closet and bathroom. When I pointed them out, he asked whether I really needed that many lights. The AC was another problem: the installed unit was only 1 ton for a room that seemed to need at least 3 tons, and the substitute air cooler barely cooled anything despite repeated requests over more than three days. There were broken taps too. This was supposed to be a luxury suite, but it was a complete disaster. I wouldn’t recommend it.
