Ocean Inn Hotels

The location was really convenient, with shops, a pharmacy, and halal restaurants just a few feet away. We stayed for five days, and the staff were accommodating with every request. The only concern was that the room and sheets didn’t seem as clean as they should have been. Everything else was good.

I booked a deluxe room for my parents for two days. It was generally a good room, though we spotted a few small cockroaches. The staff were friendly and quick to respond, and the price was quite reasonable. A decent option in Koramangala.

I knew the price was low and didn’t expect much, but the stay was still disappointing. The AC in my deluxe room was switched off from their side every other day, so I had to call to get it turned back on. The room wasn’t cleaned properly during my week there, the blanket was dirty and never replaced, and I got no towels. I even left the key at reception hoping housekeeping would come, then was told I had to explicitly request cleaning. Room service was pathetic. The bathroom had several problems too. I had to call reception every morning to open the hot water valve, or there was no hot water. The ventilation fan pushed air into the bathroom, bringing cigarette smoke smells in every night. The floor mats were left on the dustbin. The door wouldn’t lock from outside unless I pressed the lock button from inside while closing it. 😂 When I asked why the room hadn’t been cleaned, reception told me I should have informed them directly. This hotel has “Suites” in its name, but doesn’t know how to look after guests.

I’m in Bangalore two or three times a month, and this has become my regular place to stay. The rooms are great, the reception staff are good, and check-in and checkout are hassle-free. If you’re an easygoing guest, it’s a peaceful stay.
