The room itself was good and cosy for my one-night stay, but two things let it down. The AC barely reached the expected temperature. I had to set it to 17 degrees celsius just to get the room to an ambient 25. The charging sockets were loose and didn't work, so I had to charge my phone overnight with a power bank.
You've gotta be mangalorean to appreciate this beautiful setting and class food. The appam, kundapur chicken, and sannas were awesome, and prawns in garlic and butter are a classic.
Loved the rooftop ambience. It's a great spot for an evening and amazing seafood, especially the chicken ghee roast and Prawn Gassi. Just loved it.
The reception staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. My room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, and housekeeping did a great job every day. Thank you for the wonderful service.
The fish curry had no pieces of fish in it, and the fish fry was saltier than I liked and didn't taste as good as it did on my previous visit. Maybe it was just an off day. I came back for lunch a second time hoping for the same delight as before, and this visit fell short. I might give it a third try and hope for the experience I had the first time.
