OYO Flagship 49293 Hotel White Walkers

There was water leaking in the room, it wasn’t clean enough, and the elevator didn’t work. Only one staff member was around, and he couldn’t help; there was no manager either. I booked through the OYO app, but they denied check-in, saying they had no connection with OYO and asking for extra money. Save yourself the hassle and don’t waste your time here.

I had a terrible check-in after booking through OYO and paying online. Reception still demanded cash, and the person there couldn’t speak English, Hindi, or Kannada. I eventually sorted out the online payment refund with the OYO area manager. The hotel didn’t provide towels or a toiletry kit, so bring your own, and the fan didn’t work properly. At checkout, a different receptionist was rude and refused to return my balance, claiming it had been deducted for orders and services, even though I hadn’t ordered anything or asked for any services.

The mattress had bed bugs, which was the biggest problem. The lift wasn’t working, there was no AC, the bathroom was very dirty, and water came out of the taps very slowly.

I booked and paid for an AC room through the OYO app, but they put me in a non-AC room, saying they were full. They promised to move me later, then kept saying the AC rooms were full and never shifted me. There was no hot water either. The receptionist was very rude and full of himself. The rooms were small and stuffy, smelled of cigarette smoke, and made me feel sick. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
