It’s an old building with no lift, so getting to the rooms means climbing 3-4 floors. There’s a lot of noise at night, and cleanliness could be better. The staff are good, though.

It was budget friendly, but the washrooms weren’t maintained and there was no service at all. There’s also a lot of smoking, so it doesn’t seem suitable for families.

I’m a Google local guide and have reviewed places for a long time. The reviews made this hotel seem good, so I booked through Cleartrip, where it appeared to be available. At the hotel, the manager said they don’t accept Cleartrip bookings, so mine wasn’t confirmed. I had to cancel through Cleartrip, though thankfully I got a full refund. The hotel should make this clear on Maps, since customers may not know. Call before booking. I had to book on the spot, and luckily they had a room, but they told us to wait. First they said it was ready, then we waited 30-45 minutes, which was disappointing. The room was small but fine for two people; the pillow and towel were very dirty and looked unwashed. There was no curtain in the washroom, so everything could be seen from the window. We asked the hotel and they provided one. We tried watching TV, but there were hardly any Hindi channels. In the evening, we asked them to recharge it and were told they’d do it after 9 pm. They didn’t. We called to ask for just one channel, but they insisted it was already there. When we said it wasn’t and asked again, he disconnected the call. Pathetic service.

For a budget trip to Bengaluru, this is a good option. It’s centrally located, with almost all the necessary stores nearby. The rooms were clean and well maintained, and the receptionist was welcoming. Check-in and check-out were hassle free.
