St. Marks Hotel Bengaluru, a member of Radisson Individuals

We spent three weeks at St. Mark’s Hotel, and the team’s steady smiles and readiness to help made a big difference. They welcomed us with real warmth from the moment we arrived, and their hospitality made my first time in India memorable. I felt at home, even so far away.

The hotel put together a small cocktail event so regulars and solo travellers could meet, and they made an effort to get everyone talking. I also enjoyed the spa massage, the varied food and drinks, and the city views from the rooftop restaurant and corridor windows. My room was quiet and comfortable, with a good bed, adjustable lighting, seating areas, and a modern bathroom. It’s on a fairly quiet road within walking distance of a few museums, bus stops, and cafes. Very luxurious and modern, with excellent service. I’d absolutely stay again.

I was at the hotel for a conference, and staff asked me to pay extra to use the parking. Their communication with each other was poor. When I challenged the charge, the manager, a bald man, said he could ask for even more money and wouldn’t tell me his name. The staff’s service was pathetic and their behavior very rude, especially the manager’s. Please avoid using this hotel’s services. They have hired a few scammers as managers.

The breakfast was great, though I would’ve liked a few more healthy options. Even with the hotel in the centre, traffic noise wasn’t much of a problem. The whole place was very clean, and the rooms had adjustable AC, comfortable high thread count bedding and towels, and furnishings in great condition. Rooms were cleaned daily and fresh waterbottles were supplied. Staff were helpful, service was impeccable, and check-in and check-out were easy with professional reception staff. I’d really recommend the hotel.
