Grand Hyatt Mumbai Hotel and Residences

We appreciated being allowed an early check-in for the club room. The room was spacious and spotless, the beds were comfortable, and the patio looked out over a lovely garden. Staff were wonderful and ready to help with anything. At the club lounge, breakfast was made just right, with stations for food prepared to order and something for everyone. We didn’t get to try happy hour or afternoon tea, but there were plenty of snacks, drinks, and food throughout the day, with comfortable places to sit. We’d like to stay longer next time and highly recommend it for a luxurious stay at a high standard.

The event hall is well equipped for large gatherings, with a big screen and controls for the sound and lighting that really helped the event. I attended a large event at this Hyatt and had a great time. The food was excellent and well organized, and staff were helpful throughout. The hotel was clean, well maintained, and professionally run.

The breakfast spread at Fifty Five East was a highlight, with an impressive range of choices. I also recommend dinner at China House, especially the Peking Duck. The Grand Hyatt Mumbai’s location works well for business, close to BKC and the airport, while its 12 acres of greenery give it a resort-like feel. I’ve stayed here several times and have been impressed each time. The art-filled lobby is striking, the rooms are unusually spacious for Mumbai, and they felt like a peaceful retreat after a long day. The staff were attentive and treated every request as important. I’ll be back.

The food was the weak point when I visited for an event. It looked nicely presented, but the dishes tasted ordinary and none had a wow factor. Given how good everything else was, the food could be better. The lighting, seating, and overall atmosphere were excellent, and the staff were polite, helpful, and cooperative. I’d like to visit again if the food improves.
