We had a comfortable 15-day stay, with a fridge, washing machine, backup generator and good Wi-Fi. They also provided cooking utensils and gas. The caretakers and owners were friendly and helpful. The location is close to uduipi temple and manipal, with restaurants, grocery shops and Swiggy and Zomato nearby. A good option if you want a service apartment.

Cockroaches were inside the water kettle, and we found another under the living room sofa bed. The maintenance was pathetic, and the ₹2.5K per night we paid for a 1BHK felt far too high for that quality. I stayed one night. The only real plus was being about half a kilometre from Krishna mutt. The front desk was usually empty, though staff could be reached by phone.

The room was dark, poorly ventilated and uncomfortable, more like a basement than the room shown online. The floors were dusty, towels were dirty and used, and I was told rooms are turned over in 20 minutes, with no fresh sheets or linen between guests. A staff member made offensive remarks about women, and I saw him arguing aggressively with a female guest at reception. The place felt unsafe and badly managed, especially for women or anyone travelling alone. This was one of my worst stays. I have a video but couldn't upload it.

The rooms were spacious, and we had a very pleasant stay at this small lodge. It's on a street near shri krishna temple. I'd seen some negative reviews and was worried about booking, but after seeing the lodge, I felt those reviews were wrong.
