Hotel Sri Krishna Residency

We booked 3 rooms and found them lovely and clean. The temple is only three minutes away on foot, and there's a nice restaurant next door. We'd just come from club mahindra madikeri, and these rooms were just as good or better, though obviously smaller. Good rates too. If you're in udupi, book this hotel.

It's a very new hotel, with compact rooms that still had all the facilities. The toilet is small but very clean and functional. It's very close to UDIPI KRISHNA TEMPLE, so I highly recommend it for temple visitors. Car parking might be an issue, but management helps park safely. VALUE FOR MONEY!

The service sequence was a mess. Our “Gadbad” ice cream arrived before the meal, then we waited nearly 20 minutes for plain rice. The curries came much later, and the rotis only after we reminded the staff several times. We'd ordered four rotis, but after waiting about 20-25 minutes, we asked them to cancel if they couldn't serve them. They neither brought the rotis nor canceled the order, leaving us frustrated and confused. We came with a couple of families after seeing the good Google reviews, so our expectations were high. The food was below average and didn't taste good, and the staff's behavior felt rude and unprofessional throughout. We ordered rice, vegetable curries, chapatis, and a few other main course items along with dessert. Based on this visit, I wouldn't recommend the place.

Our Deluxe Room at Krishna Residency near Udupi was spacious, comfortable, well maintained, and had all the amenities we could ask for. The receptionist stood out: extremely polite and patient, and treated us with great respect, so we felt welcome and comfortable. The hotel's atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing, and the whole stay was enjoyable and memorable. I strongly recommend it to visitors coming to Udupi. Hi, this is MR Ganesh from south india vacations.
