Townhouse Boutique Hotel Sarjapur Road

We found two good places to eat within a couple minutes' walk, and the area generally felt safe. Still, I wouldn't really choose this for a family stay, even though I was there with my family. The rooms are basic but reasonably roomy, with an okay king bed. There wasn't even a hook in the bathroom for hanging things. Also, the place is actually called Astra Hotels. We couldn't find Townhouse Bourique Hotel anywhere nearby and were confused when Google led us there. Reception confirmed we had a booking.

The room was clean and had a nice feel to it, so the stay itself was good. The amenities were lacking, though: aside from water and plates, the TV didn't work. I was also charged 700 for checking in four hours early, as that's the hotel's policy. Without that, I would've given five stars. Hopefully next time is better.

There wasn't any complimentary breakfast, despite it being mentioned when I booked. The rooms have decent space, but the hotel is very bare bones, and cleanliness was only just acceptable. Service wasn't good either. Sometimes the water would stop, and nobody knew when it would come back. You also have to ask for drinking water.

Staff tried to open our door without knocking. That was completely unprofessional and made me uncomfortable about someone trying to barge into a private room. They also said water bottles were provided, but there weren't any, and we had to request towels several times before getting them. The room itself was in poor shape. The shower and hand flush were damaged, the towel hanger came off the wall, the dustbin was useless, and some switches were broken. I was very unhappy with the property and expected much better from a townhouse. I wouldn't recommend staying here.
