Treebo Tryst Monarch Brigade Road

I’m asking your office for a formal response and appropriate compensation for the inconvenience during my stay at The Monarch Hotel, Brigade Road, Bangalore, on 13th May 2026. I’m a Diamond member of IHG and have stayed at hotels in India and abroad, so I was deeply disappointed by the service and facilities. I was given an AC room, but its air conditioning was defective. I raised the problem with three receptionists across different shifts, hotel manager Ms. Pavithra Mercy, and two maintenance staff members. No one resolved it. Ms. Pavithra Mercy said, “we told you at the time of check-in that we don’t have rooms.” That doesn’t fit with the fact that I was allocated an AC room. If I’d been told AC rooms weren’t available, I would have chosen another option instead of putting up with the discomfort. This reflects badly on the staff’s professionalism and on the reputation Monarch Group has built over 35+ years in hospitality. Please review your employees’ conduct and make sure this kind of lapse doesn’t happen again. Regards, Gopinath
