The coffee is superb, and the toilets are clean, with the most luxurious flooring I've seen anywhere in India. The food is simple and safe, without fuss. There's a limited spread, but it's good, and the buffet is affordable at 300 Rs. I still come here for breakfast out of 90s muscle memory. Back then it used to be buzzing and full, with people discussing ideas and policies. I think it was once the go-to place for vegetarians from Tamil Nadu. Now it feels like a shadow of that time, but the location is still the best. It's a peaceful spot for a leisurely, simple breakfast, especially if you're in town for business and want to collect your thoughts, make notes, and prepare for the day. The old-class furniture has its insignia, and the restaurant has a “seen it all” atmosphere. The toothless old supervisor welcomes you warmly. The waiter serves discreetly and fades into the background, but is observant enough to ask “1 more coffee?” just as I start thinking about it. That's experience and insight.

I stayed for four nights. The rooms are big, and the stay is okay these days, though about 30 years ago this place felt like a STAR hotel. The WiFi was poor. I asked repeatedly, but the login details they gave me never worked, and not having WiFi disrupted all my office work. They also didn't refill the drinking water in the room. Management, it's time to wake up.

My parents had a very positive stay at woodlands hotel. The staff were courteous, polite, and helpful, and the front desk and management took good care of them. Their room was spacious, and the food was excellent and reasonably priced. The room rates are reasonable too. I'd recommend woodlands to anyone and hope to stay at Woodlands myself again. Thank you!

The property is still very good, but it feels like it’s coasting on its old reputation. There’s no real effort from management to promote the brand or give the place a facelift. The food service is good, though staff serving meals have no dress code.

I needed Wi-Fi for work and spent two days without a usable connection. The login details never worked, and after I called reception seven times, someone came but connected me to the wrong network. Staff showed little courtesy despite my repeated calls. Mr. LOKESH has promised better service this time, so I’ll wait and see. If things improve, I’ll update my rating.
