Hotel Downtown By OYO Rooms

The reception was uncooperative and unresponsive, and the numbers listed on Oyo rarely get answered. The desk isn't open around the clock either. They seem unfamiliar with both hospitality and Oyo's policies. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

The drinking water they provided wasn't good, and when I called at 5 am using service phone No-20 to ask for packaged water, nobody picked up. Aside from that, the staff behaved very well, and the room and other facilities were good. It's an Oyo-linked hotel, so perhaps Oyo should keep a closer eye on it. A good place to stay in Bardhaman with a couple, family, or friends.

They judged us by our clothes and seemed to think we were stupid. Staff kept explaining every single word about how we should write our entries. The way they behaved was really not good! 💀😤

The prices are reasonable, but the service at the Spice Garden restaurant is really poor, especially when you order drinks. There's no minibar, so every time you want a refill or another drink, you have to wait while someone fetches it from another part of the Mall. The drinks aren't very good either. There aren't any decent bars around, so this seems to be the only nearby option, but I wouldn't go back.
