We booked rooms for some guests, and the differences between Normal, Deluxe, and Suite seemed to be price and a little extra space. Room service and amenities were poor across all of them. One guest first got a room with a leaking AC. The Manager moved them, but the new room had a broken bed. My Aunt has a neck injury, and when she sat on the edge, the bed collapsed and jerked her neck. Thankfully she wasn't seriously injured, but what were the Manager and staff doing? Another guest in a Deluxe room had no intercom, toiletries, or drinking water. After repeated trips to reception, they bought bottles from a nearby market in heavy rain. In the morning there was no water in the washroom and the flush didn't work. They had to call the Manager on his cell, since there was no intercom, and he was asleep. He replied rudely or something and told them to check out right then. The party hall service was pathetic, the food was pathetic, and the Manager was the worst. This was the second party I'd hosted here. I booked again because my first experience was decent, but I was badly mistaken. The new Manager was rude and unapologetic. We booked the first floor hall for about 140 people, yet even basic soap and handwash were missing from the washrooms. We had to remind staff and the Manager several times. They asked us to choose a menu, then served what they wanted. I think some of it may have been leftovers from another party. We chose jeera rice but got veg pulao. Aloo pakora came instead of mix pakoras, with no gobhi or paneer. The Puri and Naans were as cold as leftovers. Soup came in coffee paper cups instead of soup bowls or properly heated glasses, and there was more like this. We chose four starters, but only three were served at a time and they came with long gaps. One trolley went around for 140 people, starting on one side and never reaching the other because portions were limited and refills took too long. It was a stressful, frustrating, sad experience. At payment, when we raised these problems, the Manager lashed out and said we should have brought them up during the event. As hosts, we were supposed to attend to our guests, not keep checking every refill for food quality. We were asked for the advance three times because the Manager said he had to pay vendors. I don't understand why they kept bothering us. He also pressured us to pay in cash, something never mentioned at booking. In this era of digital payment, why should we pay cash? I hope the owner changes the management, or the demise of this so-called 3 started hotel isn't far off. I hope people make an informed decision and stay safe from a similar experience.
