Hotel The Royal Crown

The hotel is on the main road, with a lift and fairly spacious rooms. We were on the second floor, and room service is available. The food is average, so I wouldn’t recommend it. You can order from nearby restaurants through Swiggy or Zomato.

My room cost 2.5k, but I couldn’t sleep until 2 AM because loud DJ music was playing right below it. The staff weren’t supportive and seemed focused on making money. They shouldn’t take room bookings when a party is planned, but guest service and hospitality didn’t seem to matter to them. A terrible stay. I’d choose OYO instead.

The open and covered spaces are very good, but I wouldn’t choose this place for marriage functions or parties. The food is okay and tasty, though the chapatis were cold and a bit thicker than normal. Rooms are spacious, but they have odours because ventilation isn’t proper. Bathrooms are clean and spacious, yet management switches off the geysers, so you have to ask repeatedly for hot water. Service and hospitality are at a very low level throughout. There was no drinking water in the room, washrooms weren’t cleaned on time, and bedsheets weren’t changed on time. You have to keep calling management for every service. The waiters were poorly dressed, their clothes smelled foul, and they seemed to be considered the best in the area. They used vegetable fat instead of butter, which felt like a breach of trust. It was the worst experience I’ve had at a function. Management needs to look into it.

The beautiful marriage hall, with elegant décor and ample space, is a real highlight for weddings. The hotel is in an excellent location, and its spacious, comfortable rooms have modern amenities. Friendly, attentive staff made our stay pleasant.
