The food wasn't worth the price, and the TV in my room didn't work. Still, the place was decent: clean, air-conditioned rooms, a clean bathroom, and friendly staff. Rooms seemed a bit expensive, though they were couple-friendly. The location worked well, a few hundred metres from mittal mall and 2 kms from the railway station. Also, the OYO tag should be removed from the name, since OYO bookings are no longer being taken into account in Bathinda.
The hotel itself was average, but the people were five-star. We got stuck in fog and called the manager at 1 am. He made sure we reached safely and even sent a driver to help us.
At checkout, they tried to overcharge us by more than 1000 rupies and asked to use our phone to “complete the check-out.” After we questioned it, we realized he wanted to write his own five-star reference. He became even angrier and more disrespectful when we caught on. That explains how a place like this could have such a reference. The rest of the stay was just as bad. Our room didn't look like the pictures, the pillow covers were brown, and the sheets were dirty and smelly. It seemed they hadn't been changed for weeks. Staff were careless, slow, and unfriendly. At the restaurant, we got different food from what we ordered, it arrived late, and it tasted horrible. Spend your money somewhere else. I don't like writing bad references, but this hotel deserves one.
We stayed one night, and it was the worst experience. The room smelled like wine and wasn't clean. The washroom was dirty too. I wouldn't recommend staying here.
We had a great two-day stay. The staff were friendly and polite, and the service was good.
