OYO 27061 Hotel Magnum

The rooms and room service are decent for the price, and it's a convenient spot for an overnight stay. A market with all the essentials is nearby. The location is okay, on a side street running in from the main Chandigarh-Kharar highway. Seems suitable for business or leisure travelers.

I had a delightful stay and would be happy to come back. The staff were really friendly and accommodating, and the room was spotless and well looked after. The bed was comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch.

The service staff were arrogant, and nobody seemed to care when we asked three times for the bathroom to be cleaned or for an OYO hotel kit. The place felt shady, and basic hygiene and comfort were lacking. There were two long hairs on my pillow, and the dustbin still held something that made it clear a couple had stayed in our room before us. Food from outside isn't allowed, yet what we ordered was expensive for the amount: a small bowl of mostly watered-down raita cost Rs 60 and wasn't tasty. Do not go here.

The rooms themselves are good, but there's no service or restaurant. The food they brought in from outside was hopeless, and there are no nearby hotels or shops, so we had to rely on them. They also required cash because they couldn't take credit or debit cards, which was too bad for a city like Chandigarh. Better to avoid staying here.
