The booking and pricing left me feeling uneasy. The receptionist quoted more than the rate I showed on MMT and got irritated when I brought it up, telling me to book through the app. When I tried, every room suddenly showed as unavailable, so I guessed he had marked them all booked there. He also quoted 1500 for the day, then gave a different price after I said we were married. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Ashiana is handy for a short stay in Bhatinda, with plenty of good restaurants nearby. The reception staff were friendly and very efficient, and the limited room service was good. It’s a good budget hotel, but skip the adjoining JRK food court. I enjoyed my stay.

The smell hits you as soon as you arrive, and the room may have rats and flies. I even got a shock from the water after forgetting to switch off the geezer. Maybe that’s the management’s strategy 😝. A really bad experience.

At Rs.900 a day, this wasn’t worth it. There’s no luggage storage, no common dining area, and the lift didn’t work. Breakfast was brought to the room. The rooms are small, gloomy and windowless, with no heater or hot kettle even in winter, and the location is awful.

The location works well if you’re heading to another city via Bathinda, and there’s a good place to eat right next door. Our room was spacious and clean, and the staff were courteous and cooperative. We had a good stay.
