The main drawback was the room. I was in Room 010, a Golf Course View with Bath Tub, but the old construction showed in cracked, damp walls, poor flooring, and weak electrical fittings with only 2 charging sockets. Not having amenities like a microwave in the room was another setback. Housekeeping gets 10/10 for trying their best to make it feel nice. The property itself is superb, wide spread, lush green, and has amazing AQI. The buffet at the restaurant was excellent with lots of choices, and I liked the partition between veg and non veg items. The food tasted good, though pastry options were very limited while their pastry chef was unavailable during my stay. There are plenty of sports amenities beyond the usual Happy Hub: squash, badminton, table tennis, lawn tennis, pool table, gym, and swimming pool, some of which I hadn’t seen at other Club Mahindra resorts. It’s a good property for a 2-3 days stay. Duration of Stay- 23/01 to 26/01

The food was tasty but quite expensive, the only thing that needs attention. We stayed twice while road tripping around Gujrat, once at the start and again at the end. Both stays were memorable. The setting is serene and picturesque, with relaxing landscaping, and the location works well for a peaceful holiday or weekend. Our rooms were clean and spacious, with balconies facing the lush green golf course, a perfect spot for morning tea. The staff were courteous.

There’s plenty to do here, from the swimming pool, squash court, badminton, cricket net practice, shooting practice on basketball, table tennis, and snooker to warming up in a well-equipped gym. If you’re willing to spend some time and money, you can also practice a few swings on the tee and watch your golf balls fly into the greens. Guests who aren’t members of the affiliated clubs unfortunately can’t play the international quality 18 hole course. The resort suits quiet family holidays and the rooms are well designed for a comfortable stay. A multi cuisine restaurant covers meals, and the travel desk is handy if you want to explore nearby places. Between the sporting facilities and all the time to relax, you won’t notice how quickly the time passes.

Food quality and variety are only average, and it’s expensive for what you get. The cost overall is high, while the offering doesn’t fully meet expectations. You could enjoy this stay if peace, nature, golf, wide green spaces, and time away from city noise are what matter most. But someone expecting perfect five star service, fuss free food, and spotless rooms throughout may be disappointed. It has more of a “country resort” feel than an ultra luxury one. It’s about 40-60 km from central Ahmedabad, near Dev Dholera / Baldana Village on the Bavla–Rajkot highway. The property is large, around 900 acres, with lush greenery, water bodies, landscaped gardens, and forest like patches. It’s scenic and good for nature lovers who enjoy bird watching, walking, or relaxing outdoors. There’s plenty to do, including a swimming pool, gym, spa / Ayurveda centre, tennis, squash, indoor games, and multi cuisine restaurants such as The 19th Hole and Plunge, as well as themed dinners. Banquet halls and seminar rooms can be useful for groups or events. The peaceful atmosphere, open space, and often praised golf course or pool views make it a good option for weekend breaks, families, or groups wanting several amenities in one place. Staff are sometimes praised for being helpful, especially with nature or early morning outings like birding and sunrise trips.

The only real letdown was the food: it was expensive and tasted average, below the resort’s high standards. Service could also be slow at times, though that was manageable in the relaxed vacation mood. Otherwise, we had a wonderful, memorable 2-night family getaway at Club Mahindra Kensville Golf Resort and would recommend it to families seeking a peaceful weekend near Ahmedabad. The staff were friendly, courteous, and helpful. The pool was large and clean, with lots of outdoor sports and indoor games to keep everyone busy. Our spacious, cozy studio unit was comfortable, and the property was beautifully maintained. Green surroundings, the lavish golf club, and serene ambience made it easy to unwind.
