We hosted a wedding here, and the food was a serious problem. I caught the restaurant using milk that was four days past its expiry date, and many guests got sick after eating stale food. Even after we told management that it smelled stale, they kept using the same ingredients. There was barely any staff at night. One person was left to manage reception and luggage, with no bellboy. In the rooms, hot water wasn't available around the clock. They also only provide one key card, and getting a second takes a lot of effort. Lose the card and there's a penalty to pay.

The property was lovely for the wedding, with a beautiful pool, well-kept surroundings, and a nice atmosphere. The food and catering, though, let the event down badly. Service was disorganized and slow. Even in the heat, the water bottles were warm, and requests to the waitstaff took ages. Sometimes a waiter took an order and disappeared, so we had to place it again with someone else. The hospitality around food and service fell well short of what we expected.

There have been reports of late-night guests being directed to their rooms by a security guard who doesn't say anything, just points the way. Management says no guard is posted then. One guest tried to thank the guard the next morning, but nobody there matched the description.

Check-in and checkout were quick, and the rooms were okay. Dinner and breakfast service at the restaurant were both really poor, though. The staff could use more hospitality training, because the service overall was disappointing.
