Farmhouse Vasai by OYO Rooms

We've celebrated major milestone events in the banquet hall, and it's been great to see this place grow from a simple, homely spot into a popular, trendy eating joint. People in Mumbai have heard of Farm House, and it's helped make Vasai eating joints a talking point. The menu keeps getting upgraded, there are often offers on drinks, especially during Happy Hours, and there's a variety of cuisines to try. Its popularity means school reunions and friend get-togethers can make it a bit noisy. Still, good food, a nice atmosphere and polite waiters make for a great Farmhouse experience that keeps bringing us back.

We were so uncomfortable that we checked out the same night. The room had a stale, unpleasant smell, like it hadn't been cleaned in a while, and we had to call housekeeping just to spray room freshener. The bathroom door was hard to open, while yellow stains and visible mould around the flush area showed poor hygiene and maintenance. The room didn't feel properly cleaned or prepared for guests either. The food was average and lacked the taste and charm it used to have. The restaurant's chicken nachos with authentic dips served in traditional chi glasses were once favorites, but it no longer lives up to its name. I recently stayed at Farm House in Tamtalao, Vasai, and the experience was far from what this place used to be. It was once a wonderful stay with great food and a warm atmosphere, but the quality has dropped significantly. It had so much potential, history and popularity. I hope management takes cleanliness and maintenance more seriously, because right now Farm House is nowhere near the standard it once held.

Orders took too long, and the food arrived almost cold. The staff weren't polite, and it seemed there weren't enough of them to attend to the tables properly. Poor management and lack of customer service made for a disappointing visit. The wait was too long, and the atmosphere didn't feel welcoming. Definitely not a satisfactory dining experience.

The food takes forever to reach the table, and both times I've tried this place, the service and food were dismal. The fries were very little for the price, hardly 10 or 15 counted pieces. If you're hungry, order butter chicken and roti, that's the only thing with a decent portion and taste. The seafood dishes are a mistake, the fish is almost always stale. Don't order Chicken Irani even if the waiter pushes it, it's extremely expensive for very little quantity. Fresh lime soda is okay-ish.
