The receptionist was arrogant and rude, especially when speaking to senior citizens. She charged Rs 30 per water bottle and wouldn’t even provide a complimentary one. We were charged RS 2000 for an extra bed, too. The flush and gyser didn’t work, and they even told people to use a public washroom if they needed one. A very bad experience. It seemed she preferred renting rooms for just 2-3 hours and didn’t want to book them for 24 hours. You had to convince her to give you a full-day booking. She has made it like OYO for unmarried couples.

The restaurant’s food was fresh and tasty, and service was quick. At Hotel Vijay Sagar, my room was clean, well maintained, and peaceful, so the stay was comfortable. A pleasant experience I’d recommend.

The restaurant was clean and well maintained, including the washroom, though parking may be limited when it gets crowded. We had lunch there, with a choice of AC or non AC seating. The food tasted good, neither too spicy nor too mild, and the starter portions were okay for the price. Service could improve, with a 5-10 minute reduction in the wait time.
