Hotel Queen by OYO Rooms

For the 1710 per night I paid through OYO, it wasn’t worth the price. The rooms were just okay, and the sheets and pillows weren’t clean, which seems to be an issue with many OYO hotels. There was no hot water, and December was freezing cold. It’s an average hotel, with a Buddhist owner and a rule against bringing non-veg food or alcohol.

The washrooms were awful, with leaks and a flush that didn’t work. The room was so cramped that only one person could stand near the bed. This is my worst stay with Oyo Rooms so far. Either Oyo has lowered its standards just to accommodate couples, or they’re out of their minds. Don’t stay at hotel queens unless you want to waste your money. I think an Oyo captain should check the place and at least use the washroom once.

The breakfast was good, but service was delayed. The toilet flush didn’t work well, the bed made a lot of plastic noise and smelled bad, and most of the bulbs were burned out.

The room I was given was small, and the actual place looked completely different from the pictures on Oyo. I raised it with Oyo, and they sorted it out within 20 minutes by getting me a bigger room. Thanks to Oyo.
