The rooms have no ventilation, and the linen and blankets smelled of dirty fungus. The toilet was disgusting. Electrical plugs were hanging out of the wall with exposed split ends. Even the lobby smelled like a public toilet. This place felt like a nightmare, with a sleazy liquor bar as its main business.

The restaurant has been a highlight for me on repeated visits, with a varied menu and food that tastes good and feels well prepared. Staff are attentive, courteous, and quick with requests. The spacious rooms are comfortable and well maintained, and housekeeping keeps them clean and hygienic. I also like the elegant atmosphere. Hotel Lal's Plaza has treated me well as a returning customer, with warm, professional welcomes each time. I've had consistently excellent stays here and would recommend it. 5/5. Traveling solo, I found the rooms just right, and the location felt safe and central. It's close to both the bus stand and Bhopal Railway station. The staff were friendly, and I had a remarkable experience. I'd recommend it to solo travelers.

The food was delicious, and the facilities were top-notch. Service stood out too. I've stayed in plenty of hotels, but this one made me feel like royalty throughout my visit.
