The Residency

The central location in BHOPAL is the only real plus. The food is okay, but service is very ordinary. At meals, staff don’t bring hot items when needed, and they asked me to pay on the first or second day of my stay. The rooms are poor and can smell, perhaps because they sit empty much of the time. They looked as if someone had last rented them 4-5 years ago. Service is lacking too, with no handwash or slippers, and there may be insects. The building layout is very uneven, with rooms not properly aligned, and the lighting is poor. A lot needs improvement. I also wonder how a four-star hotel can cost Rs. 1600.

I stayed in room 219, which was very nice. All the hotel staff were kind and pleasant. Special thanks to the front office and housekeeping teams, and to the lady in the restaurant ❤️❤️❤️ You made my stay happy, thank you so much.

Even after I complained several times, nobody came to sort anything out. They kept saying all the rooms were booked because of weddings, so why accept the booking in the first place? I changed rooms twice, but the third one was no better than the others. This was the worst hotel stay I’ve had. The place was dirty and unhygienic, and it’s not a four-star hotel. I’d never stay here again.

A budget-friendly place with a pleasant atmosphere, clean rooms, and hygienic washrooms. The staff were cooperative and the service was excellent. Good food options are just a call away.
