Deepali international

I booked this hotel through Agoda.com. It was filthy from the moment I entered: stained, apparently unwashed bed covers and pillows, bed bugs in the mattress, and a used condom under the bed. The room seemed like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. There were exposed wires in open electrical boards, which felt dangerous, and most of the furniture was cracked, unstable, or broken. The attendants kept asking me for money from check-in through checkout. I was charged for every little thing, even a bottle of water, and their repeated requests for tips or extra fees felt like harassment. There’s a BAR on the ground floor, and it felt like an earthquake while I was trying to sleep. This was unhygienic, unsafe, and unprofessional, and felt like a risk to my health. The restaurant made a very good dinner, and the location was good. But during nearly three months of travelling in India, we hadn’t stayed anywhere this bad. We saw at least four or five cockroaches in our room every day, which was disgusting. Noise from the bar inside the hotel was really annoying and continued until after midnight. If you’re looking for somewhere clean and quiet, be aware.

I’m really happy with the service, and the hotel owner treated me so well. He has such good manners.

The whole experience was awful. The room was in very poor condition, the washroom wasn’t clean, and the bar atmosphere was really bad. At around 2:00 AM, hotel staff came to the door asking about a drink order, which was for food. Everything felt very bad. I’d rate the experience 10 out of 0.
