Hotel O Star light

My family was staying here for a university admission, and I booked directly through Oyo for August 2, 2024 to August 8, 2024. At check-in the hotel refused to let us in unless I paid extra, saying the amount for six days was too low, even though I had paid through Oyo. They kept telling me to ask Oyo for the extra payment. Following the hotel manager’s advice, I contacted Oyo several times about getting the extra amount refunded. They kept me waiting, and I eventually trusted the manager and paid it. After several more attempts, Oyo still didn’t process the refund. Today I got an email saying the request was rejected for inadequate proof. I had emailed them all the details and the receipt for the extra payment made to the hotel, but nothing came of it. I’d tell people not to fall into this trap with Oyo or hotels working with them and pulling these kinds of scams on customers. Never book Oyo star light if you want a hassle-free stay, especially with family.

The caretaker is good and will respect and meet your needs. The property is within walking distance of nandan kanan road, near bynandan vihar Mo bus stop and patia railway station. Check in once to see the good ambiance. Based on my own experience, 5/5.

It’s a bit pricey for this range, but I loved the stay. The service is good, the place is clean enough, and the staff are friendly and cooperative.

Whenever I needed something, the staff boy helped me a lot, and everyone at the hotel was very polite. The AC was working well too. I had a great time here. If you visit nandankanan, do stay here for a night. It’s really good.
