Hotel O Bolpur Central Railway Junction

There’s usually just one staff member handling the whole property at a time, and the rooms are cramped. The location is poor, though the staff were quite helpful and behaved well.

We really loved the hotel. The service was good, and the staff were lovely too.

The room was small and dirty, and the washroom smelled bad the whole time. We paid Rs 1800/- for one room, or Rs 600/- per person for the stay alone. They gave three of us one blanket for a king bed. There was no towel, soap, or water in the room until we asked. A staff member wasn’t available to help with luggage, and although the lift was there, we had to carry our bags up to the third floor by stairs. They charged Rs 200/- extra for using the geyser, even for TV. The owner was rude, and the price was far too high. Don’t be fooled by the pictures. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all, and would give it negative stars if I could.

The area was uncomfortable for a tourist, and the hotel is far from Bolpur station and the Biswabharati area. Food costs too much for its quality. The people in charge seemed dishonest, lied to us, and had no basic sense of how to treat customers. After our booking was confirmed, the owner forcibly collected an extra 200 from us for the geyser in every room. The whole stay felt worthless.
