FabExpress Park Avenue

The room really wasn’t up to the mark, and when we walked in, we thought for a moment that we’d leave early. Fab hotel says there’s parking, but the property doesn’t have it. Reception told me Fab hotel hadn’t given accurate information and said they’d try to find a place for the car. That only happened the next day. On arrival, I struggled for over an hour to park on the roadside.

We visited from 27 Dec to 30 Dec, and my family was very upset. The pool was so dirty it felt like a waste of money. The bathroom lock was broken, the flush didn’t work, and the old bed and wardrobe made noise. I have videos and pictures. They served water in our room in bottles with open caps, and we don’t know where the water was filled. I wouldn’t trust Fab Hotels bookings. Fab hotel reservations, Riya and Paras Ahuja are frauds. They never pick up your call once the booking is done.

The one good thing was the staff, who were very polite and helpful. But this property needs a serious makeover, and at this price there are much better options. I won’t recommend it or use fab again. Call the hotel to check that the amenities fab promises are actually available. There’s no parking, despite what fab says. Reception won’t let you park there, and it’s very congested. They direct you to paid parking near Calangute beach. The rooms weren’t clean: the pillows, mattress, and curtains all had stains or were dirty. There was no soap in the bathroom or any complimentary soap, and the bottles provided came from the RO and weren’t sealed. Breakfast was tasty, but there was only one option. No bread and butter, cereal, juice, or fruit, and no alternatives unless you paid for breakfast. The building is very old and doesn’t give a good vibe. There’s a swimming pool, but no rules requiring proper bathing suits, so people made a mess and it felt unhygienic.

They charged 1800 per day, but breakfast wasn’t included. The pool was open during the day and closed at 6 pm, even though we visited in summer. There was no mini fridge or kettle in the room, and cleaning wasn’t done on time. Horrible experience, wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
