FabHotel Prime Supreme Grande 600 Mtrs away from Calangute beach

I arrived expecting the hotel I’d booked months earlier, M2 Hotel, but was moved to this one instead. The room smelled bad, wasn’t hygienic, and had cockroaches. My package included breakfast, but there was no complimentary breakfast here. I felt the Fab chain advertises one thing and then transfers guests to a much worse property on arrival. Even a slum room or lodge might have been better. Extremely disappointing, and I won’t book through them again.

When I got there, they refused my booking. They said they weren’t accepting Fab Hotel reservations and weren’t associated with Fabhotel. Don’t book this place.

The room had plenty of space, the bed was comfortable, and the AC and TV worked. The fridge worked too, though it didn’t look clean. The sink was cracked but usable, and there was a kettle with no cups. We also found two cockroaches in the bathroom. Most of the room was clean, but the stained towels and sheets looked like they’d seen better days. The welcome at reception was unfriendly from the start. We’d checked in online and uploaded our documents, but were asked to hand them over for scanning again. That might normally be fine, but the attitude made it unpleasant. One receptionist quietly said he’d been told not to make reservations for foreigners. I’ve lived in India for a year and plan to stay, so being treated that way was upsetting. The room was decent, but things were neglected and the staff were very unfriendly. Can’t recommend it.

The dining staff were welcoming, especially Mayuresh. Before check-in, though, the room hadn’t been cleaned properly and there were cockroaches both in the room and by the breakfast buffet. I told the staff. The latch and lights weren’t working either, but they were changed after I reported them. The manager’s response to these problems didn’t feel welcoming. Reception managers could be more professional and polite. Hospitality was lacking.
