Housekeeping was great, the staff were excellent, and the pool was good. But the place looks much better from outside than it feels once you check in. At Rs 6,800 a night, our room felt like a cheap O*O room, and there are far better options in the same location for that money. The pool had no lifeguard or security, and some guests were chewing tobacco in it. Our kids asked for swimming tubes, which staff would provide for a small fee of 200. Everything felt commercialized. The pool closed at 6:30pm, which made me wonder if we were in Goa or some third-world country. Breakfast was horrible apart from the egg counter, and MIA Goa outside the resort had much better options. The location itself is good, but the resort closes the back gate to the beach at 7:00pm. It made the place feel more like a hostel than a resort. They also took the full three-day payment in advance. For Rs 6,800 a night, they couldn’t provide accommodation for our driver. We accepted that he would manage somehow, then asked if he could at least use the shared washrooms, and they agreed. Later I learned that staff spoke extremely rudely and inhumanely to him just because he went into their restaurant to ask for a glass of water. Their language was so bad it brought tears to my driver's eyes. I’d ask people not to stay at this overpriced, cheap-feeling resort. It’s like a bride wearing heavy makeup whom the groom won’t recognize once it comes off.

The main thing Goan Heritage has going for it is its beach access: it’s right on Candolim beach, so you can walk straight onto the sand. The lawns were good, and the rooms were decent. But this third stay left us disappointed with the feel of the place. When we were here in 2016, it was lively, with guests enjoying the pool, food, beach, and lawns. This time it felt isolated, with few guests around and very few staff. The pool wasn’t well maintained, and the food was very average.

The rooms are clean, the Wi-Fi is good, and there’s a nice swimming pool. You can get straight onto Candolim beach, which makes it a good family option. Room service was poor, and breakfast had a very limited menu, but overall I recommend it for families.

The beach is right there, and that location is a big part of why I like this hotel. The grounds are kept nicely and the staff are very good. Breakfast has a great selection. The pool feels worn out, though, and those sunbeds look about fifty years old. Still, you're basically beside the beach.

It's almost sea-facing and very close to the beach, which is a real plus. The bathrooms have been renovated and are clean, and the overall cleanliness is good. The rooms are old and there's a musty smell, though the furniture is fairly well maintained. The food was okay, nothing bad, and the management seemed professional. For a comfortable 1-2 day stay, the old furniture is something you have to overlook.
